Memorial Day Ceremony

This morning about fifteen Scouts and about ten leaders from Pack 54 gathered at the Monroe Veterans Memorial to pay tribute to those who died in our nation's service.  The Webelos assisted one of our local Boy Scouts in passing out programs to those arriving for the ceremony, and six of the leaders hoisted the flags for our armed forces.  The Scouts looked sharp in their Class 'A' uniforms and were all respectful throughout the ceremony.

This past Thursday, the Webelos and Boy Scouts placed flags at the graves of local veterans to honor them for their service to our country.  Highlights of the evening's activities are pictured in the Photos section in the left-hand navigation bar.
